Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport where you will be warmly welcomed by our representative. After a briefing about your photographic safari, transfer to your Nairobi hotel for check-in. Spend the evening at leisure preparing your photography equipment and meeting your guide for a pre-safari briefing on best practices and expectations. Dinner and overnight stay in Nairobi.

Day 2: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, depart for Amboseli National Park, famed for its stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro and massive elephant herds. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge. Later, embark on your first game drive where you’ll photograph large herds of elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, and an array of bird species against the backdrop of Africa’s tallest mountain. Return for dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3: Full Day in Amboseli
Spend a full day exploring Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drives. Take advantage of the golden hours to capture dramatic wildlife scenes and landscapes. Visit the Observation Hill for panoramic shots of the park’s marshlands and plains. Lunch will be at the lodge, with optional afternoon downtime to review photos and recharge batteries. Overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 4: Amboseli – Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, drive through the Great Rift Valley towards Lake Nakuru National Park, renowned for its flamingos, rhinos, and acacia forests. After lunch, head out for an afternoon game drive. Focus your lens on the endangered white and black rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, leopards, and large flocks of flamingos along the lakeshore. Capture the changing colors of the lake at sunset. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru – Maasai Mara National Reserve
Depart after breakfast for the world-famous Maasai Mara, Kenya’s premier wildlife photography destination. Arrive in time for lunch at your luxury tented camp. Enjoy an afternoon game drive with opportunities to photograph big cats — lions, leopards, cheetahs — and a variety of herbivores in the classic African savannah. Sunset shots are spectacular here, with endless golden horizons. Overnight at the camp.

Day 6: Full Day in Maasai Mara
Spend the day immersed in the Mara. With a packed picnic lunch, embark on extended game drives to capture the big five and perhaps witness dramatic scenes like river crossings (seasonal). You’ll have ample time for low-angle photography, tracking predators, and capturing action shots. Visit a Maasai village for cultural portraits and learn about their traditional way of life. Overnight at the camp.

Day 7: Maasai Mara – Nairobi – Departure
After  breakfast, check out and enjoy a morning en route game drive while driving back to Nairobi. Depending on your flight schedule, you can explore a local crafts market for souvenirs. Later, transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight.
