Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve
Your safari begins with an early departure from Nairobi, driving through the scenic Great Rift Valley before arriving at Masai Mara in time for lunch. Check in to your lodge or tented camp before heading out for an afternoon game drive, where you’ll spot lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife.As the sun sets over the vast savannah, return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Full-Day Safari in Masai Mara
Wake up early for a sunrise game drive, a perfect time to spot predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards as they hunt. Return for breakfast, then continue exploring the rich wildlife of Masai Mara, with a chance to see the Great Migration (seasonal). After lunch, visit the Mara River, home to hippos and crocodiles. In the evening, you can opt for an optional Maasai village visit to learn about their culture and traditions. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 3: Masai Mara to Tsavo East National Park
After breakfast, check out and embark on a long but scenic drive to Tsavo East National Park, arriving in time for lunch. Check in and relax before setting out on an afternoon game drive, where you’ll see red-dusted elephants, lions, giraffes, and waterbucks.
Visit Aruba Dam, a prime spot for wildlife sightings and birdwatching. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Tsavo East to Tsavo West National Park
Start your day with an early breakfast and check out before departing for Tsavo West National Park. Arrive in time for lunch, check in, and relax.In the afternoon, visit Mzima Springs, where you’ll see hippos and crocodiles from an underwater viewing chamber. Explore the Shetani Lava Flow, a vast volcanic rock formation, before heading back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Tsavo West to Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, depart for Amboseli National Park, famous for its panoramic views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive in time for lunch, check in, and prepare for an afternoon game drive, where you’ll see large elephant herds, lions, cheetahs, zebras, and giraffes.Visit Observation Hill, a great spot for panoramic views of the park. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Full-Day Safari in Amboseli
Start the day with a sunrise game drive, capturing stunning views of elephants against Mount Kilimanjaro. Return for breakfast before another mid-morning game drive in search of wildebeests, hyenas, and ostriches.After lunch, enjoy leisure time at your lodge or continue with an evening game drive to spot more wildlife before returning for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7: Amboseli to Nairobi
Enjoy your breakfast at the lodge then check out, enjoy a final en route game drive, while driving back to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon for drop-off at your hotel or airport, marking the end of your safari.
