Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Upon arrival at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, you’ll receive a safari briefing before dinner and overnight stay..

Day 2: Nairobi – Masai Mara Game Reserve

After breakfast, drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara Game Reserve, arriving in time for lunch at your lodge or camp. In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive in the Mara’s rolling plains, searching for elephants, lions, giraffes, and cheetahs. Dinner and overnight at your lodge/camp.

Day 3: Full Day in Masai Mara – The Great Migration Experience

Spend the day exploring the Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. During migration season, head towards the Mara River to witness the dramatic crossings as wildebeests and zebras plunge into crocodile-infested waters. Outside migration months, the Mara still offers unparalleled wildlife sightings of the Big Five and countless herbivores. Dinner and overnight at your lodge/camp.

Day 4: Full Day in Masai Mara

Another exciting day of safari in the Mara. You will cover different parts of the reserve to maximize wildlife viewing opportunities. Optional activities include a hot air balloon safari at sunrise followed by a champagne breakfast, or a visit to a Maasai village to experience the local culture. Dinner and overnight at your lodge/camp.

Day 5: Masai Mara – Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

After an early breakfast, depart the Mara and drive back to Nairobi for lunch. Continue your journey south to Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for an evening game drive. Look out for large elephant herds and the majestic Kilimanjaro skyline before settling into your lodge/camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Full Day in Amboseli National Park

Spend the day on morning and afternoon game drives across Amboseli’s diverse landscapes – from wetlands to savannahs. Amboseli is world-renowned for its elephant families, as well as lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, and over 400 bird species. Weather permitting, you’ll enjoy stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped peak. Dinner and overnight at your lodge/camp. .

Day 7: Amboseli – Nairobi – Departure

After breakfast,check out and drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon. You will be transferred to your hotel or the airport for your onward flight, marking the end of your 7-days Great Migration safari.
