Itinerary:

Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

After an early breakfast, depart Nairobi for Amboseli National Park. Enjoy the scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley and arrive in Amboseli in time for lunch. Settle into your lodge or tented camp, then embark on an afternoon game drive. Look out for elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, lions, and cheetahs with the breathtaking backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Return for dinner and overnight.

Overnight: Amboseli Safari Lodge or Tented Camp

Day 2: Amboseli to Nairobi – Flight to Samburu

After breakfast, enjoy an early morning en route game drive  then transfer back to Nairobi for your domestic flight to Samburu National Reserve (or transfer by road if preferred). Upon arrival, check-in and enjoy lunch. In the late afternoon, head out for a game drive in this unique northern reserve known for rare wildlife such as Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, and reticulated giraffe.

Overnight: Samburu Lodge or Luxury Camp

Day 3: Full Day in Samburu National Reserve

Spend the entire day exploring Samburu with morning and afternoon game drives. Visit the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River, a lifeline for the region’s wildlife. You’ll have a good chance to see elephants, leopards, lions, and endemic species. Between drives, relax at your lodge and enjoy the natural surroundings.

Overnight: Samburu Lodge or Luxury Camp

Day 4: Samburu to Maasai Mara National Reserve (by flight or road)

After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your flight to the world-famous Maasai Mara or drive southward through dramatic landscapes, stopping for lunch en route. Arrive in the afternoon and enjoy a short game drive en route to your lodge or camp.

Overnight: Maasai Mara Lodge or Tented Camp

Day 5: Full Day in Maasai Mara National Reserve

Rise early for a full-day game drive with picnic lunch. Explore the vast savannahs of the Maasai Mara, home to the Big Five and countless other species. If traveling between July and October, you may witness the Great Wildebeest Migration. Visit the Mara River to watch hippos and crocodiles, and interact with local Maasai communities (optional cultural visit).

Overnight: Maasai Mara Lodge or Tented Camp

Day 6: Maasai Mara to Nairobi

After breakfast, check out and  transfer to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi or drive back with a scenic stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint. Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon for your onward travel or drop-off at the airport/hotel.
