Day 1: Arrival and Hike to Mandara Hut
- Morning pickup from Moshi/Arusha and transfer to Kilimanjaro National Park Gate (Marangu Gate).
- Registration at the park entrance.
- Begin hiking through dense rainforest to Mandara Hut (2,700m).
- Enjoy a guided walk to Maundi Crater for panoramic views of Kenya and Northern Tanzania.
- Dinner and overnight at Mandara Hut.
- Hiking Time: 3–4 hours | Habitat: Montane Forest
Day 2: Hike from Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut
- After breakfast, hike through moorland and open landscapes towards Horombo Hut (3,720m).
- Witness incredible scenery and a variety of plant species like giant groundsels and lobelias.
- Optional short hike to Zebra Rocks for acclimatization.
- Dinner and overnight at Horombo Hut.
- Hiking Time: 5–6 hours | Habitat: Moorland
Day 3: Descend and Departure
- After early breakfast, start descending back to Marangu Gate.
- Receive your trekking certificates (if you reached Horombo Hut).
- Transfer back to Moshi/Arusha or onward travel arrangements.
- Hiking Time: 5–6 hours | Habitat: Rainforest
