Itinerary:

Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve

Depart Nairobi early morning and drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley, making a brief stop at the viewpoint for photos. Continue your journey to Masai Mara, arriving in time for lunch at the lodge or camp. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive in this wildlife-rich reserve, known for lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, and other plains game. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Accommodation: Budget/Mid-range lodge or tented camp inside or near Masai Mara.

Day 2: Masai Mara – Lake Naivasha

After an early breakfast, enjoy a short morning en route game drive as you exit the reserve. Proceed to Lake Naivasha with a picnic lunch or a lunch stop in Narok town. Arrive in Naivasha in the afternoon and head straight for a boat ride on the lake, where you’ll see hippos, water birds, and stunning lake scenery. Optionally, enjoy a walking safari on Crescent Island among giraffes, zebras, and antelopes. Spend your evening relaxing by the lakeshore.
