Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru National Park
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive through the Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its flamingos, rhinos, and other wildlife. Enjoy an exciting game drive, spotting buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, leopards, and pelicans. Have lunch at a lodge before continuing with an afternoon game drive. Later, check into Lanet Matfam Resort for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha (Boat Ride & Crescent Island Walking Safari)
After breakfast, proceed to Lake Naivasha, one of Kenya’s most beautiful freshwater lakes. Enjoy a boat ride, where you’ll see hippos, cormorants, and fish eagles. Arrive at Crescent Island Game Sanctuary, a hidden gem in Kenya where you can walk alongside zebras, giraffes, and wildebeests. Have lunch at Dove Nest Resort and relax in the afternoon. You can also take an optional biking tour or nature walk. Dinner and overnight stay at Dove Nest Resort.
Day 3: Hell’s Gate National Park – Nairobi
After breakfast, drive to Hell’s Gate National Park, one of the few parks in Kenya where you can enjoy a cycling safari. Ride your bike next to antelopes, buffaloes, and zebras or opt for a game drive. Explore the Hell’s Gate Gorge, known for its towering cliffs, hot springs, and dramatic landscapes. After the adventure, enjoy lunch at a Naivasha restaurant (own cost) before returning to Nairobi in the evening.
