Itinerary

• Day 1: Nairobi to Marsabit National Park

Depart Nairobi early in the morning and embark on a scenic drive towards Marsabit, passing through Isiolo and the semi-arid landscapes of northern Kenya. Along the way, admire the breathtaking views of Mount Kenya, vast drylands, and scattered traditional villages.

Upon arrival at Marsabit National Park, check in to your lodge or campsite and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, set out on a game drive, where you might spot elephants with some of the longest tusks in Africa, leopards, buffaloes, and rare Grevy’s zebras.

Later, visit Lake Paradise, a stunning crater lake within the park, surrounded by dense forests that provide a perfect habitat for wildlife and numerous bird species. Enjoy the serene environment before returning to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

• Day 2: Marsabit National Park to Nairobi

Wake up early for a morning nature walk or game drive, where you can see the park’s early risers, including various bird species and grazing herbivores. After breakfast, explore more of the park, visiting sites such as Gof Redo Crater, a scenic viewpoint offering panoramic views of the park’s landscape.

Depart Marsabit and begin the journey back to Nairobi, enjoying stops along the way for sightseeing and refreshments. Arrive in Nairobi in the evening, marking the end of your 2-day safari adventure.
