4 DAYS SAFARI TO NAIROBI AND SAMBURU

Experience 3 nights, 4 day safari in Nairobi and Samburu in Kenya. Nairobi is known for its wildlife such as the lions, leopards, buffaloes, giraffes and many more wildlife.The park is home to over 500 bird species including; ostriches, secretary birds and crowned cranes. Nairobi also has an Animal Orphanage for rescued animals being rehabilitated such as the lions, cheetahs, baboons and various birds. Samburu National Reserve is home to the special five such as the Gerenuk, Beisa Oryx, Reticulated Giraffe, Grevys Zebra and Somali Ostrich. It also gives an opportunity to visit the Samburu Villages to learn about their semi-nomadic lifestyles, beadworks and dances.

DAY 1 NAIROBI NATIONAL PARK

Pick-up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and drive to Nairobi National Park for check-in at Nairobi Tented Camp inside the park Morning visit to the Animal Orphanage to see the rescued animals like ; lions, cheetahs, leopards and various birds being rehabilitated Lunch at the camp Afternoon Safari walk to spot the lions , cheetahs, rhinos and leopards in enclosed areas Dinner and overnight at the camp .

DAY 2 NAIROBI TO SAMBURU NATIONAL PARK

Early morning game drive to see the nocturnal animals such as the lions, cheetahs and some snakes which are active during the night. Breakfast, check-out and departure with an enroute game drive from the park Arrival and check-in at Samburu Sopa lodge with an enroute game drive in to the lodge in time for lunch Afternoon cultural visit to Samburu villages to learn about their semi-nomadic lifestyle, beadworks, dances and also buy their handicrafts Dinner and overnight at the lodge .

DAY 3 FULL DAY IN SAMBURU CONSERVANCY

Early breakfast at the lodge Full day game drive to spot the famous special five such as the; gerenuk, Beisa oryx, Somali Ostrich, Reticulated giraffes and Grevys Giraffes with a game drive along the Ewaso Nyiro to have a close encounter with elephants, lions and leopards. Picnic lunch at the reserve Evening unique camel safari rides which will be guided by Samburu warriors Dinner and overnight at the lodge y.

DAY 4 DEPARTURE

Breakfast at the lodge Check-out and departure with an enroute game drive from the conservancy .
