6 DAYS MAASAI MARA LAKE NAKURU AMBOSELI CAMPING SAFARI
This 6 days safari package can be a sharing safari or a private safari and accommodation is not limited to budget camping it can also be in luxury tented camps. The safari features the open plains of Maasai Mara famous for annual migration of wildebeests and zebras, waters of Lake Nakuru home of millions of beautiful pink flamingoes and Amboseli National park featuring game viewing and the Mt.kilimanjaro as the backdrop.
Day 1: Nairobi-Maasai Mara national reserve
Safari begins at 0700hrs where you depart from Nairobi to Maasai Mara via the view point of the Great Rift Valley. Where you will be able to see the beautiful escarpments of the great rift. From there we be headed to Narok town located at south-west, which will be our next stop, here you will be able to take lunch. After which we proceed with our safari to the Maasai Mara national reserve. Upon arriving we will have a game drive. After which you will be served with dinner and overnight at Manyatta tented camp.
Day 2: Maasai Mara national reserve
In the morning at we will be served with breakfast and then we depart with a packed lunch for a full day in the park. First we will start with a walk around the park viewing the beautiful scenery of the grassland savannah you may decide to carry a camera with you in order to capture photos. We will have our lunch and then proceed to river Mara where we will be able to see crocodiles and hippos. (Optional) visit to Maasai village can be organized with an extra cost. After the day’s activities we will rest, meals and overnight at Manyatta tented camp in the Maasai Mara.
Day 3: Maasai Mara-lake Nakuru national reserve
The day begin with pre break-fast game drive. And then back to the camp for full breakfast after which we will depart to Lake Nakuru. Lunch will be served on our way to nakuru.you are going to arrive to Nakuru early evening and then dinner and overnight at the budgeted hotel.
Lake Nakuru is a salt water lake and is one among many lakes that were formed many years ago during the formation of the Great Rift Valley. Its water attracts the pink flamingoes and the park has a wide range of wild animals starting with the big five, zebras, antelope’s, tree climbing monkeys and many other kind of animals.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru-Amboseli National Park
After breakfast proceed for a game drive to Lake Nakuru which is world renowned for its masses of flamingoes and is often referred to as the "Pink Lake “though at the moment most have migrated. Beside birds, it is possible to see small game, like Water Buck, Impala, Rhino and Buffalo in the gardens surrounding. Have lunch in Nairobi and proceed to Amboseli National Park. Once in the park proceed for a short game drive if time permits. Dinner and overnight at the camp
Day 5: Amboseli full day
After breakfast you will embark on early morning pre-breakfast game drive before returning to the campsite for breakfast. You then participate in another game drive where plains game including zebra wildebeest, giraffe, and various antelopes can be seen. You will have lunch and leisure break before ending with an evening game drive, looking out for the peak of Kilimanjaro, which can be seen in clear weather. Large swam of hippos and elephant can be seen bathing in the swamp grounds whose source is Mt.kilimanjaro.All meals and your overnight stay will be at the camp
Day 6: amboseli-nairobi
The day begins with pre-breakfast game drive around the park after which proceed to the camp for full breakfast freshening up and we depart for journey back to Nairobi. We will arrive Nairobi in late afternoon.
