Day 2 Nairobi – Samburu Lodge Safari - Kenya Tour Budget Tour

After breakfast pick up by our driver/guide at approximately 6.30a.m and depart for Samburu Sopa Lodge, Samburu (approx 5.5 hrs drive) where you will be booked for two nights stay on full board basis. Arrive at the lodge in time for a late lunch and thereafter relax until evening after which you will depart for a game drive in to the Shaba national reserve. Samburu National Reserve is one of the lesser-known national parks, but is nevertheless teeming with life. Situated alongside the Ewaso Nyiro River, there is plenty to attract wildlife from the surrounding savannah plains. The reserve is rich in wildlife with an abundance of rare northern specialist species such as the Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk and the beisa oryx (also referred to as Samburu Special Five). The reserve is also popular with a minimum of 900 elephants. Large predators such as the lion, leopard and cheetah are an important attraction (Kamunyak the miracle lioness that adopted the baby oryx is a resident in the reserve). Day 3 Full Day Samburu Lodge Safari - Kenya Tour Budget Tour

After early morning tea/coffee depart for a game drive returning back in time for breakfast. After breakfast spend the entire day at own leisure until lunch. After lunch depart for another game drive returning back to the lodge for dinner. Dinner & Overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge

Day 4 Samburu – Aberdares Lodge Safari - Kenya Tour Budget Tour

After breakfast check out from the lodge and depart for The Ark Lodge, Aberdares (approx 4 hrs drive) where you will be booked for one night stay on full board basis. Upon arrival you will have lunch at the Aberdare restaurant and thereafter proceed to the Ark lodge in their vehicle. You will be able to view animals from your room at the Ark since they have a water hole in the compound. Dinner & Overnight at The Ark Lodge

Day 5 Aberdare – Lake Nakuru Lodge Safari - Kenya Tour Budget Tour

After morning breakfast check out from the lodge and proceed to Sarova Lion Hill Lodge, Nakuru (approx 4 hrs drive) where you will be booked for one night stay on full board basis. Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge is nestled along the Lion Hill overlooking the spectacular flamingo pink rimmed Lake Nakuru. The park is home to not just the lesser flamingo but over 400 species of birds and one of the few places to see the endangered white rhino. Other wildlife at the park includes lions, leopards, zebra, gazelles, eland, giraffe and the hyrax. Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch. After lunch depart for an afternoon game drive in to the Nakuru national park where you will also be able to view the world famous flamingoes. Return back to the lodge in time for dinner. After early morning tea/coffee depart for a game drive returning back to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast spend the day taking advantage of the facilities at the lodge. Day 7 Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara Lodge Safari - Kenya Tour Budget Tour

After breakfast check out from the lodge and proceed to Mara Sarova Camp, Mara (approx 5 hrs drive) where you will be booked for two nights stay on full board basis. Arrive at the camp in time for lunch. “The Magical Mara” is one of Kenya’s best loved reserves. It is an extension of the Serengeti ecosystem to the south. Each year, Mara is the staging ground for the “Great Migration”, one of the awe-inspiring natural events of the world. After lunch depart for an afternoon game drive where you shall have the opportunity to view the “Big Five” namely the Lion, Buffalo, Elephant, Rhino and the Leopard. Day 8 Full Day Masai Mara Lodge Safari - Kenya Tour Budget Tour

After early morning tea/coffee depart for a game drive returning back to the camp for breakfast. Spend rest of the day at leisure (you can opt for a full day game drive with packed lunch provided you have notified the hotel a day prior). After lunch depart for an afternoon game drive returning back to the camp in time to freshen up for dinner. Dinner & Overnight at Mara Sarova Camp.

Day 9 Masai Mara – Nairobi Lodge Safari - Kenya Tour Budget Tour

After early morning tea/coffee depart for a game drive returning back to the camp for breakfast. After breakfast check out from the camp and proceed to Nairobi. Upon arrival in Nairobi transfer to the airport to board your onward flight with sweet memories of your safari.
