Description
This beautiful we shall spend it at the Ngong Hills a gazetted forest reserve and it is famous in many historical works, including Karen Blixen’s film “Out of Africa”. It also has magnificent views of the Great Rift Valley and of Nairobi.
Full day excursion
After breakfast, you shall be met by our tour guide for a short briefing about the safari. Later on drive to Ngong Hill that is 22km southwest of the city. We shall carry along our packed lunch.
Hiking trail on the Ngong hills starts from Ngong town at the northern foot of the hills up to the southern end at Kona Baridi. The whole mountain range is a gazetted forest reserve and at the highest peak on the knuckle-shaped Ngong Hills at 2460m above sea level and it covers an area of 21000km2.
The professional and amateur runners will also be found in the morning jogging up and down the steep slopes. The trail thins out and descents into a trough before you climb the next steep hill.
We shall take our lunch as we relax and take scenic photography and proceed with our adventure. The rolling hills seem to keep popping up with each taking its toll on you.

Her lover Denys Finch Hatton was buried along the hills and the story was that Karen could see the grave site from her house.
Later on we shall return to our hotel to relax as well as get some refreshments.
