Bomb Blast Karen Blixen City Tour

The day will be spent in visiting the city on a historic tour to the bomb blast and to the Karen Blixen museum.Our first visit will be to the bomb blast site downtown in Nairobi city. This is a remembrance site where the names of all those who died in .the catastrophic August 7 1998 terror attack.The US Embassy terror attack occurred in 7 August 1998 and claimed lives of over 200 people and left over 5000 people injured. There were two bomb blasts both in Kenya and in Tanzania which occurred simultaneously and which the Al-Qaida group of terrorists claimed responsibility. Here will pay our respects to those who lost their lives and say a prayer for their families as well as the people who were injured during the attack.

After the visit you will take lunch at a Nairobi hotel and later proceed to Karen Blixen Museum Wind up the day with a visit to the Karen Blixen Museum at the foot of Ngong hills. Discover the history of Karen Blixen a Danish author of the Famous book Out Of Africa. The home houses the furniture, the library, the gallery that points back to Karen Blixen’s life and that of her husband Baron Bror von Blixen Fincke. They were European settlers who owned a coffee farm and factory at the Ngong hills.

At the end of the day, you shall be taken back to your hotel to mark the end of the tour.
