The full day excursion at Nairobi National Park that is popularly known for its black rhino sanctuary, David sheldrick known for elephant calves and rhinos conservation, Bomas of Kenya a tourist village.

Full day excursion

After breakfast, you will be met by one of our tour guides in your hotel, be briefed about the activities to take place during the day, and then depart for the park at 6.30 a m. It is a few kilometres from the city itself. It is the oldest park in Kenya, that was established in 1946 and its closeness to the city attracts more visitors. It is popularly known for its black rhino sanctuary.

At the park, animals found there are; lion, rhino, cheetah, buffalo, hyena, giraffe, zebra and over 400 bird species recorded. We shall try to find some of the predators feeding on their prey. Later on, proceed to The David Sheldrick Orphanage, which was gazetted in 1977 for elephant calves and rhinos conservation in Nairobi, Kenya. In order to safe these young ones they used the method of ~work together~, it being one of the world’s most successful elephants conservation organisation. It is open from 11am – 12pm for visitors to see the calves as they are being fed; they exercise, romp and bathe in the muddy waters.

We shall have lunch at one of the restaurants en-route to The Bomas of Kenya. It was establishes in 1971. It is a traditional village that displays the traditional village belonging to several Kenyan tribes. Here, it preserves the authenticity of Kenya’s cultural values and portrays them in pure form. Today, it as well serves as a conference centre. 

Afterwards, you will dropped off to your hotel, to freshen up and relax and have optional activities at the hotel.
