7 Days Masai Mara Lake Bogoria Lake Nakuru Lake Naivasha  Budget Safari.

Day 1: Nairobi- Lake Bogoria

Our representative and driver guide will pick you up from the airport or your hotel in Nairobi and depart for Lake Bogoria early in the morning at the communicated time. You will travel along the Nakuru highway where there will be a brief stop at the view point for a scenic view of the rift valley floor. The ride will take approximately 4 hours to your first destination. Arrive in time for lunch, enjoy the delicious dishes at the hotel, and check in at the camp before proceeding with the evening game drive.Enjoy the game drive to the lake, best known for bird watching. Discover of the great number of the lesser flamingos and over 135 bird species in the alkaline lake with blue-algae which feeds the birds. You may also spot the rare Greater Kudu, the impala, warthog, caracal, spotted hyena, buffalo, zebra, cheetah, and baboon.  The lake is geothermal active ,on the western shore of the lake are over 150 hot springs and geysers .it is believed that the waters have a healing power. And some people bathe with the water at the geysers for such reasons. The hot springs can also boil an egg within few minutes. At the end of the evening safari, return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Lake Bogoria –Masai Mara

Depart from Lake Bogoria national reserve in the morning after breakfast for Masai mara. Enjoy the ride and stop over at Narok town in time for lunch .Narok town is the major stopover for tourists visiting the mara and upholds the culture of the Masai people being the host population. After lunch, continue with the ride to the park, on arrival, check in to the camp and rest before proceeding with the evening game drive.  Masai mara is a ‘must visit ‘destination for visitors in Kenya. Enjoy the evening tour with the open roof top where you will spot the animals in the park. The savanna grassland vast park will give you an excellent opportunity to spot the big five (lion, buffalo, rhino both white and black, leopard and elephants), the Rothschild giraffes feeding amongst the acacia tress, herds of wildebeest, zebras, dik-diks, gazelles among others.  At the end of the evening game drive, return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Masai Mara full day

Spend the day for the full exploration of the vast Masai Mara with a lunch break in between the morning and the evening safari. The morning game drive will give you a better chance of game viewing before the sun gets hot. You will spot the animals as they graze and you may also get lucky and witness the game hunting. The park also has hot air balloon services which are optional and are charged at an extra fee of 450 usd. During the day, an optional Masai village visit can be organized. The Masai people live adjacent to the park and they also graze their animals within the park. They have deeply upheld their culture, way of dressing, bead work, cultural dances and their traditional dishes. A local guide will accompany you to their Manyatta (village). At night you will hear choruses of animals communicating in the darkness, such a great experience. After a successful day of exploration, take dinner and spend the night at the Masai Leisure Camp.

Day 4: Masai mara full day

Spend the day exploring the park from east to west, north to south in search for the animals as they graze while the predators hunt. You will have a chance to spot the lions, dik-diks, gazelles, Rothschild giraffe, wildebeest, zebras, buffalos, jackals, the stripped hyenas, elephants, and hippos. If it is a wildebeest migration period you will be taken to   the Mara River where the crossing takes place. Take picnic lunch at the Hippo point as you watch the natural beauty of the land. At the end of the day, return to the Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Masai mara -Lake Nakuru.

Early morning pre game drive from 0630am to 0930am, then go back to the camp for full breakfast. Check out and leave Masai Mara for Lake Nakuru with lunch en-route. You will arrive in Nakuru Town in the late afternoon. if time allows you shall go for the evening game drive. Lake Nakuru is known as a paradise for birdwatchers because the lake is world famous as the location of the greatest bird spectacle on earth which boasts anywhere between one and two million lesser and greater flamingos that feed on the abundant algae in the lakes warm waters. It is one of the few parks that have been specifically established for the protection of birds specifically flamingoes, more than 450 species of birds have been recorded here. The park has also been established for the protection of endangered species such as the rhino and is also home to Columbus monkeys, Leopards, Giraffes, and a variety of plain antelope Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 6: Lake Nakuru full day

Spend the whole day with the morning and the evening game drive breaking for lunch. The park will give u an opportunity to discover its natural potential .The lake hosts millions of greater and lesser flamingos, pelicans and other bird species. The park is also well known for its huge population of the White Rhinos .You will encounter with the Rothschild Giraffes, African Buffalos,   Impalas, Zebras, Olive Baboons, Waterbucks and Velvet Monkeys. Commonly spotted in the park are Hyenas, Jackals, Lesser Flamingos, Hippopotamus and Pythons. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 7: Lake Nakuru –Lake Naivasha -Nairobi

You will spend the early morning watching and photographing the birds and wild animals in Lake Naivasha National Park. After that session take full breakfast, check out of the camp and leave for Nairobi, via lake Naivasha where you will have optional boat riding .There after leave for Nairobi stopping for panoramic views of the Great Rift Valley en-route. You will arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon. You shall be dropped at the hotel or the airport to mark the end of the safari.
