7 Days, 6 nights safari to Samburu National Reserve that is rich in wildlife and also the Samburu Five animals i.e. Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, Beisa Oryx and the gerenuk. Maasai Mara National Reserve has abundance of wildlife as well but mostly the big five and the annual migration of the wildebeest from Mara to Serengeti and vice versa. Lake Nakuru has large numbers of leopards and flamingos that turn the lake pink. Lake Naivasha is a fresh-water lake with a great number of hippos and crocodiles.

Day: 1 Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve

After having taken your early breakfast, we shall proceed to Samburu National Reserve.  We shall drive along the Central Kenya Highlands. It is incredibly beautiful with the savannahs that are watered by the Ewaso Nyiro River and home to many species found in the northern circuit.

We shall arrive in time for lunch. On arrival we shall have a game drive en-route to our lodge, followed by a few hours of relaxation. In the evening, we shall have our first game drive and here, we shall try to capture many animals as possible i.e.  The Grevy’s zebra, Beisa Oryx’s, the big cats and the birds as well and after sunset, we shall return to our lodge for dinner and the overnight stay.

Day: 2 Full days Samburu National Reserve

We shall wake up very early in the morning, in order to do the most during the day. We shall have a pre-breakfast games drive to try and spot the predators in action. Later on return to our lodge for a heavy breakfast, to freshen up and relax till lunch time with optional activities i.e. swimming

Afterwards we shall explore the reserve before sunset, we shall return to our lodge foe dinner and the overnight stay.

Day: 3 Samburu to Maasai Mara

After having our early morning drive, we shall return to our lodge for a very heavy breakfast, freshen up and check-out and our lodge in order to depart for Maasai Mara National Reserve. It is popularly known for the annual migration of wildebeest, zebras and the Thompsons gazelles depending on the time of the year from and to Mara to Serengeti in Tanzania.

We shall have lunch along the way, arriving in Mara late in the afternoon. We shall have a game drive en-route to our lodge spotting different animals and birds. We shall check-in, have some refreshments.

In the evening, we shall have a games drive, capture the moments as well, since the reserve is home to other animals like giraffes, leopards, lion, cheetah, elephant, jackals, hyenas,  rhino, buffalo, dik-dik among others.

After sunset, we shall return to the lodge for dinner and the overnight stay.

Day: 4 Full days Maasai Mara

On this very wonderful day, we shall try as much as to capture many animals as possible.

We shall enjoy our breakfast at the lodge enjoying the view of the landscapes. Then, you will be picked for a hot air balloon safari to get a glimpse of the reserve in a bird’s eye. We shall have a champagne breakfast served on arrival and then we shall be picked by our driver for a game drive having our lunch at the Mara River shores. With the help of a guide, we shall have nature walks to areas with no predators.

In the evening, we shall visit the Maasai Village, whom have upheld their way of life till date. Prolly learn a few things about them and we shall have an evening drive en-route to our lodge to freshen up, have dinner and stay for the overnight stay.

Day: 5 Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru

After having our breakfast, we shall prepare in order to leave for Lake Nakuru which is popularly known for the millions of flamingos and a huge number of the leopards.   We shall arrive in time for lunch. Have a drive en-route to our camp, to relax as lunch will be served.   Later, in the evening we shall have a drive around the park and sport different kind of animals.

 Before sunset, we shall return to our lodge for dinner and the overnight stay.

Day: 6 Full days Lake Nakuru

We shall spend the day at this beautiful park. We shall have a full day drive; we shall have our picnic lunch at leisure. We shall visit the Makalia falls, which are at the south of the park also the baboon cliffs.

In the evening, we shall have some refreshments and enjoy some free time where one ought to go for swimming or enjoy the views for the lodge.

We shall then have dinner and stay for the night.

Day: 7 Lake Nakuru to Nairobi

After having breakfast, we shall depart for Lake Naivasha, we shall visit the Crescent Island, have a closer view of animals like the buffalo, antelope, giraffe, warthog and the monkeys. We may also enjoy a boat ride at an extra cost; we shall see the hippos in the lake and crocodiles as well.

We shall have lunch then depart for Nairobi. We shall arrive on time. Afterwards you will be transferred to the airport to catch your flight.
