Day: 1 Nairobi to Lake Elementaita

After breakfast, a short briefing is done and we depart for Lake Elementaita. A soda-like lake located in the dusty plains. A world heritage site and with over 400 bird species including the pelicans and herons, we arrive in time for lunch and a few hours of relaxation i.e. swimming  before heading for an evening drive For bird and wildlife watching as well.

Day:  2 Lake Elementaita to Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, we proceed to Lake Naivasha. The best part about the lake is the abundance of birds. The high productivity of the lake allows hundreds of bird’s species to flourish here. Some of these birds include; pied kingfisher, ruff, great white pelican, black heron, cape teal, greater flamingo, black cuckoo.

Day: 3 Lake Naivasha to Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, we shall depart for Lake Nakuru. The lake is known for millions of pink flamingos. You will also get a chance to see other bird species i.e. African fish eagle, tawny eagle, green wood hoopoes and lappet-faced vulture along the shores. During the drive you might get lucky and see the leopard and other animals as well. Have our leisure picnic lunch and continue in search of other animals i.e. buffalos, rhinos, giraffes and baboons.

Day: 4 Lake Nakuru to Lake Baringo

We depart for Lake Baringo after breakfast.The lake is a bird heaven for birders. Home for other animals like; hippos, grants gazelles, crocodiles, greater kudu and with over 480 bird species i.e. brown babbler, little weaver, African scops owl, Somali fiscal, verreaurs eagle and Jackson’s hornbill. Afterwards, enjoy some optional activities i.e. boat riding, fishing and skiing surfing

Day: 5 Lake Baringo to Samburu National Park

Depart for Samburu National Park in the early morning and suitable for the bird watchers and photographers. Some birds found there include; the grey parrot, turners Eremomela, blue headed bee-eater, the black cuckoo and the western banded snake eagle. In the afternoon, we shall have time to relax before our evening games drive and try to capture what was not seen during the day.

Day: 6 Samburu to Mt. Kenya

We shall depart for Mt. Kenya and spend the entire day bird watching at the forest region. Some of the birds include; green ibis, lesser spittle eagle, harrier hawk, rufous sparrow hawk, black stock and mountain buzzard that you might come across during the drive and a bird watching safari along the river line forest.

Day 7: Mt Kenya to Nairobi

After breakfast, we shall depart for Nairobi having a couple of stopovers to buy souvenirs, refreshments and re-fuel the car. Arrive in time for lunch and have a farewell dinner afterwards, you will be transferred to the airport and our safari comes to an end.
