6 Days ol kinyei conservancy safari

Ol Kinyei Conservancy, a vast protected area sheltering varied wildlife that includes lions and leopards. The Conservancy also hosts over 300 different bird species and other large mammals found in its open grasslands, riverine zones and forests. At the exclusive Adventure Camp in Ol Kinyei guests enjoy top quality service from local Maasai guides, trackers and camp staff, and world-class game viewing in 4x4 safari vehicles. Providing visitors with a unique chance to spot large predators rarely spotted so easily in the wild. The whole of six days safari will be spend in game viewing in the conservancy with optional visit to the national reserve.

Day-by-Day itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi- Ol Kinyei Conservancy

Depart Nairobi for a flight to the Mara. You'll be met at the airstrip by Porini staff and transferred to camp. Settle into your tent and enjoy lunch prepared by the camp chef. Afternoon game drive in the Ol Kinyei Conservancy, followed by a sundowner at a scenic spot. Return to camp for a shower, dinner and overnight

Day 2: Ol Kinyei Conservancies – Kenya

Today kicks off with an early morning 4x4 game drive in Ol Kinyei private conservation area near Masai Mara. The early morning is an excellent time to spot birds and wildlife, settling down after a night of hunting or beginning to stir at daybreak. After our open game drive it is time for brunch at the rustic camp, having worked up a good appetite. Dinner and overnight at the camp

Day 3: Ol Kinyei Conservancies – Kenya

Next day, we set off into Ol Kinyei Conservancy on foot, taking a guided walk with an expert local guide. As with the Conservancy, advantages of game viewing in the private Ol Kinyei Conservancy include, being able to go on bush walks and night drives, whilst escaping the crowds. After getting up close to the flora and fauna of the African bush on foot, we return to the camp for a lunch break. After the well-prepared lunch, you can snooze and sit back in nature, watching the birds and animals around camp. Then we set off on another 4x4 adventure in Ol Kinyei private game reserve, going in search of Africa's wildlife as the day fades into night. We use a spotlight to find our way back after dark, looking out for the shy creatures that wake up at night.

Enjoy dinner in the mess tent and relax around the campfire, gazing up at star-studded African skies, before falling asleep in the unspoilt bush.

Day 4: Ol Kinyei Conservancies – Kenya

Awake to the natural sounds of the Mara's birdlife. After an early breakfast, go on a morning walk in the Conservancy escorted by Maasai warriors and a guide, returning to camp later in the morning. In the afternoon you will go on a game drive to explore more of the Ol Kinyei Conservancy on the lookout for elephants, buffalo, giraffe, plains game and the big cats, followed by a night game drive after dinner to search for nocturnal animals including the elusive leopards which are resident in Ol Kinyei.

Day 5: Ol Kinyei Conservancies - Kenya

After breakfast leave camp with packed lunch spend the day game-viewing in the conservancy. With optional visit to famous Masai Mara Reserve and then moving on to Camp arriving in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight in the camp.

Day 6: Ol Kinyei Conservancy- Nairobi

Final early morning game drive in the Conservancy followed by breakfast and then drive into the park to the airstrip to fly back to Wilson Airport in Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon. Drop off at the town hotel or international airport.
