You will be picked up from Arusha or Moshi and transferred to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive in time for lunch at the lodge and later on descend over 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater to view wildlife through an afternoon safari tour. You will have dinner and an overnight stay at the camp or lodge of your booking.
Day 2 - Central part of Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will leave the Crater Highlands behind and descend into the heart of wild Africa, the Serengeti National Park, with its endless plains rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. You will head to the Seronera area, one of the park's richest wildlife habitats. It features the Seronera River which provides a valuable water source to this area, therefore attracting wildlife well-representative of most of Serengeti’s species. You will enjoy a game drive en-route to your accommodation in the Seronera area, where you will have dinner and an overnight stay at the camp or lodge of your booking.
Day 3 - Central part of Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, enjoy a full day of game driving in Serengeti National Park. The wildebeest migration normally passes through the Seronera during April and May. However, the area is nevertheless within reach of both the southern plains and the park's Western Corridor.
Thus, the resident game in this area of the park is phenomenal and animals such as the elephant, buffalo, gazelle, zebra, lion, and a variety of other predators and herbivores can still be seen there all year round. Your dinner and overnight stay will again be in a camp or lodge within the Seronera area.
Day 4 - Western part of Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will have a game drive en-route to the western reaches of the Serengeti National Park, also known as the Western Corridor. Arrive in time for lunch at the lodge, then enjoy an afternoon game drive in the area. The wildebeest migration can normally be found in the Western Corridor in June, depending on rainfall patterns. Your dinner and overnight stay will be in a camp or lodge within the Western Corridor.
Day 5 - Western part of Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will enjoy a full day of game driving in the Western Corridor. The area's key feature is the presence of the Grumeti and Mbalageti rivers, running almost parallel to each other, each supporting a band of evergreen forest. The rivers sustain a permanent game population of zebra, wildebeest, all the predators, and bird life.
It is also possible to find large pods of hippos and huge crocodiles in the Grumeti River. Mid-morning, wildebeests normally gather around waterholes in such densities that they look like ants swarming around a nest. Your dinner and overnight stay will again be in a camp or lodge within the Western Corridor.
Day 6 - Western part of Serengeti National Park, and Arusha or Moshi
After breakfast at the lodge, you will enjoy a game drive en-route to the Grumeti airstrip. Around mid-morning, you will join a scheduled flight from this airstrip to Arusha Airport (ARK). The driver will take you to your hotel in either Arusha or Moshi, thus ending the safari services.
