6 Days Lake Nakuru Lake Naivasha Masai Mara Budget Safari.

Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru National Park.

You shall be picked up from your Hotel in the morning after breakfast and drive to Lake Nakuru National park through the Great Rift Valley. There will be a brief stopover at the View Point for a great view of the rift valley landscape, valleys, escapements as well as human settlements.  You will arrive in time for lunch. Check in at camp and have lunch. Proceed with the afternoon game drive thereafter to see one of the largest ornithological spots, millions of the greater and the lesser flamingos and over 450 bird species. You will have an opportunity to encounter with a variety of wildlife: the endangered white rhino and black rhino found in this park, Columbus monkeys, Leopards, Giraffes, and a variety of plain antelope. Dinner and overnight at the Camp.

Day 2: Full Day Lake Nakuru National park.

Take breakfast at the camp. Spend the full day with morning and the evening game drive carrying the packed lunch with you. Lake Nakuru is known as a paradise for birdwatchers because the lake is world famous as the location of the greatest bird spectacle on earth which boasts anywhere between one and two million lesser and greater flamingos that feed on the abundant algae in the lakes warm waters. It is one of the few parks that have been specifically established for the protection of birds specifically flamingoes, more than 450 species of birds have been recorded here. The park has also been established for the protection of endangered species such as the rhino and is also home to Columbus monkeys, Leopards, Giraffes, and a variety of plain antelope. Lake Nakuru is famous for its Pink Flamingoes and many other types of birds.

Day 3 Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara

Early morning pre game drive from 0630am to 0930am, and then go back to the camp for full breakfast. Check out and leave for Masai Mara with lunch en-route. You will arrive at the reserve in the afternoon, sign in at the reserve, and check in at the camp and rest for some time before heading out to the wild for the evening game drive till sunset. If time allows you will go for an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at the camp

Day 4: Masai Mara full day

Spend the day for the full exploration of the vast Masai Mara with a lunch break in between the morning and the evening safari. The morning game drive will give you a better chance of game viewing before the sun gets hot. You will spot the animals as they graze and you may also get lucky and witness the game hunting. The park also has hot air balloon services which are optional and are charged at an extra fee of 450 usd. During the day, an optional Masai village visit can be organized. The Masai people live adjacent to the park and they also graze their animals within the park. They have deeply upheld their culture, way of dressing, bead work, cultural dances and their traditional dishes. A local guide will accompany you to their Manyatta (village). At night you will hear choruses of animals communicating in the darkness, such a great experience. After a successful day of exploration, take dinner and spend the night at the Masai Leisure Camp.

Day 5: Masai mara full day -Lake Naivasha

Take an early breakfast at the camp, check out and depart for Lake Naivasha .Arrive at the lake Naivasha national park in time for lunch. Take lunch at the Lake Naivasha Hotel. You will have optional activities.

You may, take a boat ride to the Crescent Island where you can see the animals on foot. You will   see the zebras, waterbucks, Rothschild giraffe and others.

Also, you may choose to go for Nature walk in the park as you explore the lands of the wild as you spot the animals and enjoy the cool breeze of the lake.

 Another option may be to go swimming and relaxing by the pool as you enjoy the view of the animals on the other side of the fence.

Day 6: Lake Naivasha-Nairobi

You will spend the early morning watching and photographing the birds and wild animals in Lake Naivasha National Park. After that session take full breakfast, check out of the camp  and leave for Nairobi, stopping for panoramic views of the Great Rift Valley en-route. You will arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon. You shall be dropped at the hotel or the airport to mark the end of the safari.
