Day   1   Nairobi to Buffalo springs national reserve

You will depart from Nairobi in the morning and depart to buffalo springs national reserve. We will check in the lodge time for lunch and relax for some few minutes and after proceed on with the game drive. This reserve was named after an oasis of clear water at its western end; it is located in Samburu national reserve which lies on the southern part of Ewaso Nyiro. We will go for wildlife watching since the reserve its dry we will be able to see some of the animals move about in search of water and pasture.

Day   2 buffalo springs full day

After breakfast we shall proceed for full day bird watching with a packed lunch. There is a large variety of bird species to be spotted in buffalo springs national reserve. The vast majority of birds will be seeing in the riverine forested areas within the river banks, or in the vicinity of fresh water springs and pools that lend their name to the reserve. Large flocks of helmeted guinea fowl decent on the sandy river banks at sunset to quench their thirst.

Day   3 Buffalo springs full day

The day will be spend in full game drive. Game drive is definitely the best way to see large variety of wildlife.  A drive through the riverine forest should yield good sightings at any time of the day as large numbers of animals tend to converge on the shady river banks to escape the heat. To see predators on the move in the open scrubby areas. Some of this animals to be seeing are reticulated giraffe, African bush elephant, Oryx, African buffalo, gerenuk, cheater, lion and hyena. We will also visit do some cultural visits to Samburu tribes men.

Day    4   Buffalo springs to Nairobi

After breakfast in the morning we will visit the Samburu tribe men who are very happy to share their culture and traditions with the visitors. After you will return to the lodge and prepare to check out and depart for Nairobi. We will arrive late in the afternoon and you will dropped at the destination of your choice within Nairobi to mark the end of the safari.
