Description

The 4 days, 3 Nights perfect group joining safari to Maasai Mara National Reserve. This safari is friendly because you will be joined by other members during the safari in the budget accommodation.  It is popularly known for abundance of wildlife, the big five and the annual migration of wildebeests, zebras and the Thompsons gazelle. The reserve was named in honor of the Maasai people who have upheld their way of life. It is has over 400 bird species recorded. We shall have full day games drive and have a glimpse of the Mara River.

Day: 1 Airport to Nairobi

On arrival, you will be met by our tour guide: greetings and short briefing about the safari is done. Later, you will be transferred to your hotel in Nairobi; you shall check in and then have a few hours of relaxation.

Later on in the evening, we shall have a city tour and return to our hotel for dinner and the overnight stay.

Day: 2 Nairobi to Maasai Mara      

After breakfast, you shall be met by our tour guide: greetings and later on, we shall proceed to town to join the other individuals then depart for Maasai Mara National Reserve popularly known for large numbers of the big cats and the annual migration of the wildebeests, zebras and the Thompsons gazelle. We shall drive along the floor of the Great Rift Valley having a stop-over at the viewpoint and have scenic photography.

Proceed with our safari and have our lunch at Nanyuki town and arrive at Mara late in the afternoon, we shall be welcomed and have our drive en-route to our lodge. We shall check-in and relax as we prepare for our evening games drive, before sunset, we shall return to our lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day: 3 Discover Maasai Mara

We shall have our pre-breakfast games drive and return to our lodge for breakfast and to freshen up. Later on we shall be picked to go and enjoy the hot air balloon safari at an extra cost.

Have lunch as we relax. Have a drive to the Mara River try and spot the crocodiles, hippos and the bird species along the river shore and have nature walks. In the evening, enjoy a game drive to spot some of the animals not seen in our previous drives and return to our lodge before the sunsets for dinner and the overnight stay.

Day: 4 Maasai Mara to Nairobi

After breakfast, we shall have a chance to visit the Maasai Village and learn a few things from their culture, at an extra cost.

Later on have a games drive en-route to Nairobi, have our lunch at Naivasha and arrive on time, have our farewell party and afterwards you will be transferred to the airport for your departure.
