4 days/ 3 nights best budget private safari at Lake Nakuru and Lake Bogoria is a destination to one of the Great Rift Valley lakes.
Lake Nakuru is well known for the breeding grounds of the both greater and lesser flamingos as well as a sanctuary for the white and black rhinos and other animals like; lions, buffalos, warthogs, zebras and leopards.
Lake Bogoria is an alkaline lake that lies in a volcanic region. Has the greatest number of lesser flamingos, over 200 geysers and bird species, see ostriches walking gracefully on the green lawns, greater kudu, dikdik, jackals, cheetah and zebras.
Day: 1 Nairobi to Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, you will be met by our tour guide; greetings the short briefing about the safari is done. After all is set and clear, we shall depart for Lake Nakuru.
We shall drive along the floor of the Great Rift Valley, having a stopover at the viewpoint to capture the moments. Then proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park, which is also known as the pink carpet lake due to it abundance of flamingos.
On arrival, we shall check in at our camp as we have lunch. Later on proceed to our evening games drive to try and capture some of the animals and birds.
Before sunset, we shall return to our camp for dinner and the overnight stay.
Day: 2 Lake Nakuru National Parks
The day shall kick off with an early games drive; we shall seek for the predators since they normally hunt early in the mornings. Afterwards, we shall return to our camp for a heavy breakfast. Then have a drive in search of rhinos, buffalos, leopards and giraffes thus, having a walk near the shores of the lake to get a closure view of the flamingos and other birds as well.
We take lunch at our lodge and the rest of the afternoon is at leisure before embarking on our evening games drive and return to our camp for dinner and the overnight stay.
Day: 3 Lake Nakuru to Lake Bogoria
After breakfast, we shall depart for Lake Bogoria the best place to see large flocks of birds in the shallow waters feeding on algae.
We shall arrive in time for lunch. In the lake, there is plenty of bird and wildlife to see. You will get a chance to visit the hot springs and have a lesson or two about cooking. We shall see the over 135 bird species, animals like zebras, giraffes, cheetahs and baboons. Lucky enough to see ostriches walking gracefully on the green lawns and before sunset return to our camp for dinner and the overnight stay
Day: 4 Lake Bogoria to Nairobi
After a heavy breakfast, we take a stroll round the park around en-route to Nairobi, having several stopovers for refreshments, re-fuelling the vehicle and buying souvenirs. Arrive at Nairobi in time for lunch.
Afterwards transferred to the airport and the safari comes to an end.
