3 DAYS SAMBURU, BUFFALO SPRINGS AND SHABA NATIONAL RESERVE SAFARI.
Day 1: Nairobi –Samburu National Reserve.
Leave Nairobi in the morning for Samburu through the Great Rift Valley. It takes approximately 5 hours to arrive at our first destination. Arriving in time for lunch, check in at a lodge or a campsite and take lunch. Go for an afternoon and evening game drive in the reserve. The Samburu reserve is semi-arid with river Ewaso Nyiro cutting through the park giving a source of life and a habitat for the Nile crocodiles. Explore the great number of wild animals like lions, cheetahs, rhinos, reticulated giraffes, grevy zebras the Somali ostrich making the reserve a special destination.at the end of the game drive, return to the lodge or camp for dinner.
Day 2: Buffalo Springs.
Discover the beautiful reserve of the special northern wildlife the freely traverse through the three reserves. The buffalo spring is south of Samburu national reserve being divided by the river Ewaso Nyiro. The wildlife at the reserve is the reticulated giraffe, the grevy zebras and African bush elephant, Oryx, crocodiles and the hippos. The reserve also has huge numbers of special bird species like Somali ostrich and the Somali ostrich special kind birds.
Day 3: Shaba National Reserve.
Have an early bush breakfast before going for a morning game drive at the reserve for a better chance of wildlife watching. The three parks have the same kind of wildlife as they move across from one park to another .Other animals may include, warthogs, wildcats, stripped hyenas, baboons, impalas and others. In the afternoon, go for a camel-back guided safari to the Samburu village for a cultural exploration of the Samburu people, their way of life and the traditional dances. As you learn about the Samburu people you will also discover the unique singing springs in the reserve.
You will be taken back to your hotel in Nairobi for the end of safari.
