Itinerary:
Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru National Park
Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or the airport. After a short briefing from your safari driver-guide, you’ll depart by road towards the Rift Valley, passing through scenic landscapes, including the dramatic escarpments and small highland towns. A brief stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint allows you to stretch and take in breathtaking panoramic views.
You’ll arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park around mid-morning and begin your first game drive en route to your lodge. After check-in and lunch, head out for an extensive afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru’s alkaline waters attract thousands of flamingos, painting the shoreline pink. You’ll also have the opportunity to spot endangered white and black rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, lions, waterbucks, baboons, and leopards (if lucky).
