9-Day Samburu Lake Nakuru Hell Gate Maasai Mara Adventure

This tour starts and ends in Nairobi, It covers from the northern side of the country to the southern. You will explore Samburu National Reserve Lake Nakuru National Park before continuing to the Mara for a first class game viewing experience and finally Amboseli park the view of the Mt. Kilimanjaro Park

Day 1: Nairobi-samburu national reserve

You will be pick up from the airport to the office with briefing, thereafter you will be drive north past the equator to the northern frontier district. Continue to the semi-arid Samburu National reserve and check in to your campsite/ lodge. There will be time to settle in before your afternoon game drive. Set out for an afternoon game drive in the reserve. Return to the camp/lodge before dark. For dinner and overnight stay.

Samburu National Reserve is situated about 350 kms north of Nairobi in the semi-arid part of Kenya. Ewaso Nyiro River, the only water source in the dry season, bisects the reserve and apart from providing water to life, the river is home to some of the biggest Reptiles in the region and attracts a good number of birds. Some 300 different species have already been recorded

Day 2: Samburu Game Reserve

Early in the morning set out for an early morning game drive in the reserve. This is usually the most popular game viewing time. During the early hours temperatures are low, thus providing a favorable atmosphere both for the game and the viewer. Lion, Cheetah and Leopard roam the vast grasslands in search for their next meal, it may be an unsuspecting impala or even a small one like the warthog…whatever the players, and the spectacle of nature unfolding is always awe inspiring. Afterwards back at the camp, enjoy your sumptuous breakfast. Followed by lunch in the camp then its time at leisure to relax by the riverside watching crocodile .Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

Day 3: Samburu- Lake Nakuru Park

After early breakfast depart for a morning game drive in the reserve, en-route to the gate. Drive a southerly direction to the equator for a brief stop. Here, the locals do a water demonstration to qualify the position of the equator and for a small tip you could be awarded an 'equator Certificate'. After the brief stop, Drive to the Thompson falls for a photo-stop then down into the Great Rift Valley. As you ascend the eastern wall of the rift Valley, lush coffee and tea plantations reveal themselves and your driver-guides will give you a brief talk about coffee farming in Kenya. After checking in at your camp settle down for lunch. Followed by afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp

Day 4: Nakuru -Masai Mara Game reserve

Full buffet breakfast in the camp. Check out thereafter and drive via Narok town to Maasai Mara National reserve, the land of the Maasai tribe. The proud young Maasai warrior-nomads with their plaited hair, red cloaks, and spears, challenge your curiosity. The 700-square-mile Game Reserve is the Africa of your dreams, complete with wild animals grazing amid the superb rolling and scape of gentle hills and acacia woodlands. Check in to your lodge/camp for lunch. There will be time to settle in before your first game drive. Afternoon game drive in the reserve. Return to the camp before dark for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Masai Mara Game reserve

Wake up call. Tea, coffee and cookies will be served in the lodge/camp. Then Set out for full day game drive in the reserve. This is usually the most popular game viewing time. During the early hours temperatures are low, thus providing a favorable atmosphere both for the game and the viewer. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

Day 6: Masai Mara - Lake Naivasha

Full buffet breakfast in the camp then check out. Drive to Lake Naivasha where you will have your lunch enroute. After lunch in hotel you will go on with the drive to Lake Naivasha which is the only fresh water lake in Great Rift Valley

Day 7: Hell's Gate National Park Adventure

You'll be picked up from your camp to Hell's Gate National Park. While Hell's Gate is known primarily for its landscape, there is still game to be spotted within the park. Buffalo and antelopes are especially common sights, and the park is also home to a variety of birds. There are no predators or dangerous large game in the park. You can decide to rent a bicycle to explore the park while cycling or just stay in the safari vehicle.Your first stop will be the spectacular Fisher's Tower, where the adventurous can choose to ascend the 45m tower. Equipment can be rented on the spot, and all climbs are guided by local professionals. From here, you've got a long but scenic ride to the famous Hell's Gate Gorge - where you can walk and climb your way through the distinctive terrain that helped inspire Disney's famous The Lion King.

Day 8: Lake Naivasha- Amboseli

You will take your early morning breakfast then you will be driven to the southern part of Kenya call Amboseli where you will pass the boarder of Kenya and Tanzania You will arrive in the park in the late evening and the game drive enroute to your tented camp

Day 9: Amboseli park-Nairobi

Early morning breakfast then drive back to Nairobi or transfer to the airport for the further destination and this is the end of the service.
