Day-by-Day itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi-Masai Mara

Leaving Nairobi, you will drive through the Great Rift Valley heading South West to Masai Mara National reserve arriving in time for lunch at your camp.  Afternoon game drive across the beautiful dotted plains of Mara in search for large prides of lions and other cat’s family species like cerval cat, cheetah, and leopard including herbivores like Topi, Hartebeest, Oribi as well as many other mammals, reptiles and amphibian species. Have dinner and overnight stay at Mara Serena Lodge on full board basis.

Day 2: Masai Mara National reserve

You will the full days at Mara in search for more game including an opportunity to spot the big five: Lion, Leopard, Rhino, Buffalo and Elephant.  Game drives are flexible, with optional visits to a local Masai village where you can interact with local people and learn of their culture and traditions.

Day 3: Masai Mara National reserve

We continue to explore this miraculous area on our morning and afternoon game drives. This open grassland is home to almost every species of East African wildlife including lions, elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, wildebeests, gazelles, and zebras. This is one of the most spectacular sights in the world. At sunset we will visit a section of the Mara River where we hope to see many hippos. Third of 3 nights in the Masai Mara. Mara Serena Lodge. Day 4: Explore Masai Mara National reserve

On this day we will head out early for pre breakfast game drive then back to the lodge for full breakfast. After which we leave with packed lunch for full day trip in the park in search of the wildlife. It’s only in the Masai Mara where it’s possible for a herd of elephants to surround your car so close such that you can be able to see their eyelashes and have an eye-contact. Herd of lions and their cubs may hold your interests hostage for more than an hour as they come into the shadow of your vehicle to escape the midday heat. A family of cheetah sunning themselves sleepily on a rock; the drama of a lion making a kill just few feet away from your vehicle, or the thrill of elephant flapping happily her big ears to cool off from mid-day heat will make your holiday dream come true. In this day you can decided either to spend your time in the swimming pool or even have a massage. Dinner and overnight at the budget camp.

Day 5: Discover more of Masai Mara

Awake to the sounds of the African bush and have an early breakfast at the hippo pool then proceed for a Full Day in the park in search of the big 5/ trailing the wildebeest migration Morning and afternoon game drives are offered. Optional hot air balloon trip is offered at an extra cost of US$ 450 per person. Which is the perfect way of seeing the savannah plains teaming up with wildlife. Return to the Serena Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Masai Mara-Nairobi

You will have early morning pre-breakfast game drives and the last game drive bidding bye to the wild animals, back to the lodge for full break first then proceed to Nairobi lunch en route arriving by evening where the safari ends.
