3 days samburu luxury lodge safari
The 3 days / 2 nights safari takes us to the Samburu National Reserve which is about 345 km from Nairobi. One will get a chance to ride a Camel, visit the Samburu people, discover the singing wells and discover one of the rare species i.e. beisaoryx, reticulated giraffe, grevy zebra Somali ostrich among others. Samburu offers you good activities like Riding camel, Mingling with the samburu people, Discovering the rare 5 species, Climbing mountains, Attend Lmuget ceremonies and discovering the singing wells.
Day 1-Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve
The day starts by having an early breakfast at your hotel, then picked from the hotel and depart for Samburu. It is one of the lesser known reserves located in a bumpy semi-arid region. You will have to cross the equator and see the beautiful farmlands. We arrive in Samburu in time for lunch followed by a few hours of relaxation e.g. swimming, riding Camel.
There will be an evening game drive and return to our lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2- Samburu National Reserve
This entire day is spent in search different animals. Taking the morning and evening games drive. The reserve is rich in wildlife with abundance the grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, kuchi another majot attraction is the wild dog sighting and with over 450 bird species. Having an option to visit the Samburu village, and back to our lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3-Samburu to Nairobi
Having the pre-breakfast game drive and back to our lodge for a sumptuous breakfast then depart for Nairobi. Arrive in the city in the afternoon for lunch and later on transferred to the Airport where our safari ends.
